CUSTOMER MASTER; PAYMENT TERM


WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCE OF UNIT D, ED, EM, M, AND W?


1. Unit D or Days

           If selected as D in unit, it is computed as TRN DATE + (PERIOD) DAYS 

Ex: Trn date is 5-12-2024 and period is (2) and selected unit is (D) DAYS the Due date would auto reflect as 07-12-2024. 



2. Unit ED or End of Month (Days)

 

          If selected as ED in unit, it is computed as End of the month + (PERIOD) days

Ex: Trn date is 5-12-2024 and period is (2) and selected unit is (D) DAYS, the Due date would auto reflect as 02-12-2024. (End of month + (2) days) 





3. Unit EM or End of Month (Months)
 

          If selected as EM in unit, it is computed as TRN DATE + (PERIOD) end of month (months). 

Ex: Trn date is 04-12-2024 and period is (2) and selected unit is (EM)  the Due date would auto reflect as 28-02-2025. 



4. Unit M or Months

 

            If selected as M in unit, it is computed as TRN DATE + (PERIOD) MONTHS 

Ex: Trn date is 01-12-2024 and period is (2) and selected unit is (M) MONTHS, the Due date would auto reflect as 01-02-2025. 



5. Unit W or Weeks

            If selected as W in unit, it is computed as TRN DATE + (PERIOD) WEEKS

Ex: Trn date is 01-12-2024 and period is (2) and selected unit is (M) MONTHS, the Due date would auto reflect as 15-12-2024.
