KNOWLEDGE BASE

Description:   All salesperson can view all their own customer transactions only, even though if the transaction is created by another user, as long as the customer is assigned to this salesperson, he can view everything.

1. A2000ERP allows admin to determine if a sales person can EDIT or VIEW only their own transactions or ALL.

    A. SETTING 1 - The first setting is to tie the LOGIN ID to a SALES PERSON under User Maintenance. See example here for User AMBOY being tied to Sales Person AMBOY ROSARIO. In this example, when AMBOY login to use this system, the system will identify him as sales person AMBOY ROZARIO

B. SETTING 2 - The second setting is at the User Maintenance – Security 2, where the sales person can be restricted in term of access.

Note (1) – this setting limits the access to customers which belongs to him only. If this field is unchecked for user AMBOY, then he can access to all customers in the system. If this option is checked, then AMBOY can only access to customers tagged to him under Customer Maintenance (at the user field).

Note (2) – this setting will hard filter this user/sales person to sales transactions that belongs to him only. In this example, whenever AMBOY opens up reports & Queries, he will see that it is hard-filtered at the sales person field to AMBOY (he cannot select other sales person in the dropdown box).
