SALES/  PRICE LEVEL

DESCRIPTION         This pricing technique is commonly used in Distribution and Consignment business.

1.  SETUP

Product price level via Stocks – product Management

• The  ID plays an important role in both customer and product setup.
• The system will auto-get the Unit price from Product maintenance and a subsequent Line discount will be auto-get from Customer maintenance.
• The system will auto-get the Unit price from Product maintenance and a subsequent Line discount will be auto-get from Customer maintenance.

2.  MATCHING OF PRICE LEVEL

To set the price level in both customer and product maintenance.

Go to Price Level Discount tab of the customer maintenance to set.

3.  RESULT

From the above example, the lowest matching Price level SO2.

If a Sales Order is created for customer 018 for product Test_abc,

• The Unit price would be 15.26 if the price is GST inclusive
• The Unit price would be 14.00 if the price is GST exclusive
• Furhter more, the Line discount 1 would be 26.00%.
