   SYSTEM & USER-ACCESS RIGHTS UPDATE

____________________________________________

1. ASSIGNMENT OF ACCESS RIGHTS

In past versions of A2000ERP, when users are assigned new rights to the system, these rights are immediately recognized. This was because such accesses were directly bounded to the respective users. It was convenient, but causes slower screen loading during usage, as binding is happening real time in the background.

CHANGE

As such user access changes happen rarely (usually under new setup only), it was causing slower loading for most of the time. In the latest version, we set the binding only when the user logs in, and not anymore when they starts to use the system. As such, the loading of menu, reports and language files during usage, are speeded up significantly.

IMPACT

The impact is when the administrator assigns a new right; the respective users must re-login again for the rights to be recognized.

EFFECTIVE

This is effectively our system update on 4-Aug 2024.

                            (b) Report Access

                            (c) Detailed User Access (under User Maintenance)

                            (d) Language Setting
